Tape Art consists of creating works from adhesive tape of different types.
This movement can be divided into two distinct techniques: "duct tape art," which uses opaque canvas tape, and "packing tape art," which plays on the transparency of Havana packaging tape.
Conservation of works
The question of the conservation of my works is very often asked by buyers.
As an artist, I like the idea of the ephemeral and the perpetual evolution in art but in 7 years of experience I can affirm that the work does not deteriorate over time if it is preserved in good conditions, as for all works of art!
In order to counter the only external element (UV rays from the sun) which could distort the work, they are protected with an anti-UV varnish and framed mainly in a box made of UV-treated plexiglass.
