TAPE ART | DATA SHEET

Tape Art consists of creating art works from various types of tape.

This movement can be separated into two distinct techniques: the "duct tape art" that uses canvas and opaque ribbons and "packing tape art" playing on the transparency of the tan "scotch" package.

 

Conservation of art works

The issue of conservation of my works is very often asked by buyers.

I like the idea of the ephemeral and constantly changing in Art but in 6 years of experience I can say that my work does not deteriorate over time if it is kept in good conditions, like all Art Works!

To counter the only external element (UV rays) which could distort the work, they are protected with a UV varnish and framed primarily in a box made of plexiglass treated against UV.
